These terms apply when you play Shellspace, a game operated by Christopher Allen ("we"). By signing in and playing, you agree to them. Contact: archlinuxusa@gmail.com.

Your account

You sign in with your own Google or Discord account, and each account has one captain. You are responsible for what happens under your account. Choose a captain name that is not offensive, impersonating, or someone else's.

Playing fairly

Don't cheat, exploit bugs for advantage, use bots or modified clients to gain an unfair edge, attack or overload the game's servers, or harass other players, including in chat. Attacking, robbing and outwitting other captains inside the game's rules is part of the game; harassment outside them is not. If you find a bug or exploit, please report it.

The game and its contents

Credits, ships, cargo and other in-game items have no real-world value, are not your property, and cannot be exchanged for money. Shellspace is in development: the game, its balance and its data may change, and the game world may be reset while it is being built.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove captains, or limit access, for breaking these terms or to protect the game and its players.

No warranty

Shellspace is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from playing or being unable to play, including lost game progress.

Changes

We may update these terms; the new version will be posted here with a new date, and continuing to play means you accept it.
